synergies between Cultural Heritage and Food&Beverage Experiential Tourism
November 23rd, 2018 – Portogruaro (VE) and Pramaggiore (VE)

 

“TELLING A STORY" is a cycle of events promoted by Scuola Centrale Formazione and its associated member Lepido Rocco related to the project “KeyQ+: Culture and tourism as keys for quality cross border development of Italy and Croatia”, that is a territorial cooperation project funded by the European Regional Development Fund within the INTERREG V A PROGRAMME ITALY-CROATIA.

The cycle of events will take place on 23/11/2018 in Portogruaro (VE) and Pramaggiore (VE) and it will be dedicated to synergies between Cultural Heritage and Food&Beverage Experiential Tourism.

The morning session will be a National AMFORHT seminar, held in the City Council Hall of Portogruaro (VE).

It will be opened by Institutional greetings from the City of Portogruaro, Scuola Centrale Formazione and Fondazione Lepido Rocco.

A presentation of the KeyQ+ project by the Lead Partner AZRRI (Agency for Rural Development of the Region of Istria – HR) will follow.
Then, the seminar will proceed with speeches from Giampiero Rorato, journalist and expert in Food and Beverage, Maria Pia Favaretto Educational Director of the Master Food & Wine 4.0 – Web Marketing & Digital Communication from
IUSVE (Salesian University Institute of Venice and Verona) and Martine Ferry, Responsible for Master programs at Institute Paul Bocuse - ECULLY (FR).
Finally, Helene Verdet – General Delegate from
AMFORHT: Association Mondiale pour la Formation Hoteliere et Touristique will give of a worldwide overview about international policies in Tourism.

A thematic buffet inspired to the KeyQ+ training units will be prepared and served by the students of Lepido Rocco at the national exhibition of Wines, in Pramaggiore (VE), where in the afternoon, a cookery workshop for chefs with Italian and Croatian teachers will be organized by Lepido Rocco, with final tasting and greetings.

Participation in the events is free of charge.

Due to organizational reasons, only a limited number of seats are available.

MORNING SESSION: INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR

The participation to the morning seminar is open to all kind of actors working, with different roles and missions (e.g. education, vocational training, local development, promotion, international cooperation, Food Service, etc.) in the Tourism and Catering sector, with priority for organizations based in EU.

An interpretation service ITALIAN to ENGLISH and VICEVERSA will be ensured.

To register to the MORNING SESSION, please fill in the form by 26 October 2018.

The information required are necessary to ensure a good communication about the program, logistics, including the confirmation of the registration to the seminar, and to collect information suitable for the reporting of the activity to the Managing Authority.

 


AFTERNOON SESSION:

The afternoon cookery workshop is targeted to professional in the food sector: cooks, cook-assistants, waiters, restaurant managers from the Adriatic area of Italy and Croatia (see eligible provinces at: http://www.italy-croatia.eu/cooperation-area. The working language will be ITALIAN.

14:30-16:00: KeyQ+ Cookery Workshop for chefs/cook-assistants/waiters, teachers and trainers in the catering sector. The workshop is lectured by a chef from Lepido Rocco and by Robert Peric, chef from AZRRI (teacher at the School of Catering of Pula)

16:00: 17:30 Show cooking and tasting in Pramaggiore (VE)
